Field trial in Itteren runs on emission-free power from Watermeln 💧⚡
This week, another great project has started for VAN WIJLEN, part of Maaskracht floodplain management. An excess of spontaneously grown saplings is being removed using completely zero-emission equipment. This ensures the area remains open, allows water to flow smoothly during high water levels, and preserves biodiversity.
Electric equipment requires a reliable on-site power supply. Especially in remote locations, this is often a challenge.
That is why Watermeln 🍉⚡ is supplying the energy with a mobile hydrogen generator. By converting hydrogen into electricity, the equipment's batteries are charged directly on site.
Thank you to VAN WIJLEN and Maaskracht floodplain management for the trust!
