Your role:
As a Full-time Operations technician at Watermeln, you play an indispensable role in our operations team. You ensure that hydrogen generators are set up and running at some of the most beautiful festivals and construction projects throughout the Netherlands. You’re also the go-to person for on-site repairs. In addition to these operational tasks, you assist with the assembly and maintenance of our units.

What will you do?

• Connect and install hydrogen power generators for clients on-site.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and perform maintenance on-site.
• Contribute ideas to improve and optimize our systems and processes.
• Assist in building and maintaining our generators at our workshop in Groot-Ammers.

What do you bring?

• An MBO level 3 or higher in electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 2 years of experience in an operational technical role.
• Skilled with tools and experienced in troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to work in the field and travel independently throughout the Netherlands.
• A proactive attitude; you can work independently and take initiative.
• Solution-oriented, hands-on, and practical approach.
• Comfortable in a scale-up environment.
• Preferred: Experience with CAN bus communication, C programming, and embedded software.
