Watermeln recently achieved a first with the Watermeln 200 hydrogen generator
The innovative system is the bigger brother of the Watermeln mini and was first deployed during the Groningen ESNS festival and illuminated the city hall on the Grote Markt in Groningen.
The project was organized by the municipality of Groningen, Gasunie and MissieH2 to promote the province as a hydrogen region and demonstrate its myriad hydrogen capabilities. The Groningen ESNS festival was the perfect opportunity to test the Watermeln 200 in a festival environment, to develop a new standard on both a practical and legal level.
About the Watermeln 200
The Watermeln 200 is a mobile power generator that runs on green hydrogen. The uniqueness of this product is that it is completely emission-free, a lot quieter and more energy efficient than traditional generators. It can be easily transported to any construction or festival site, and its plug&play installation means it will be up and running in no time. It can deliver up to 200 kW of power, making it suitable for projects with small and large power demands.
Hydrogen is an important contribution to the transition to a world where we use more clean, low-emission energy. The technology offers enormous potential to replace diesel generators and it is an effective way to reduce CO2 emissions and improve energy efficiency for (semi) off-grid applications.
